After being into Japanese rock for several years, I suddenly found myself tripping over into the Korean music scene. Starting off with Korean pop, I was soon hooked on hip hop, R&B and ballads, and I'm still not quite sure how I've gone from Dir en grey's screaming angst to Super Junior's rainbow happiness. My favourite artists would be Epik High, Shinhwa, Park Hyo Shin, Bi and Fly to the Sky, although there's a whole bunch of other artists I like as well such as Nell, Super Junior, SG Wannabe, MC Sniper, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Haha and the likes.

My interest in asian music started when a friend of mine introduced me to Ayumi Hamasaki. From there my interest in Japanese music grew and grew. It officially took over my life when I decided to study Japanese at university. I discovered Korean music through this interest, purely by accident. I was introduced to Cherry Filter, who remain a firm favourite, through Youjeen's solo project and my interest has grown from there. Currently my favourite artists are Seo Taiji, Jaurim, Cherry Filter, Rux, No Brain, Nell, Maya and Lady.
