FTIsland will release a new album entitled Colorful Sensibility on August 25th. The album will be released in 2 versions. The limited edition release comes with a poster and both versions come with photos of each of the 5 members. The CD contains 12 tracks and is the second full length Korean album from the group.

Further details have finally been released about Shin Hyesung's third album, Side 1 - Live and Let Live. Set for release on August 26, Side 1 - Live and Let Live will show Shin Hyesung moving away from his signature ballad style, and experimenting with different genres such as alternative, Britrock, swing and big band. The title track will be Because of You, written by singer-songwriter Vink from rockband N.E.X.T. Vink has also composed six more of the tracks, and Wheesung and WANTED's Kim Jaesuk have also contributed. Honey Lee, $howgun and Yurisangja's Park Seunghwa also feature on this 12 track album.
Interviews with Shin Hyesung and the composers/lyricists of the album will be released on the official website from August 19 onwards, creating even more anticipation for this release.
Side 2 of the third album will be released in December, and will see Shin Hyesung returning to his ballad style. -

SM Entertainment have announced plans for the release of SHINee's full length debut album! The young boy band have been causing a storm since their debut a few months ago. Nunan neomu yeppeo (Replay) has caught the attention of both Korean and overseas fans, making them one of the most popular new groups of the year.

Jeon Seongsik is probably best known for his work with Swedish jazz guitarist Ulf Wakenius on the album Twighlight in 2002. His new single contains four tracks: Moody's Mood for Love, Nobody else but me, One Day I'll Fly Away and Space.

Besides being busy with A-Nation, Dong Bang Shin Ki are flying back and forth between Japan and Korea to complete their 4th Korean album which is set to be released soon. And now a new Japanese single has been announced: on October 1st an as yet untitled single will come out, featuring a Japanese version of the lead track from their upcoming Korean album. There will be a jacket A CD + DVD version and a jacket B CD Only version. Further details will be announced at a later date.

The Power of Atamix is a three day festival that takes place from August 13 to August 15, 2008 in Atami, Japan. Japanese artists such as Bennie K, mihamaru GT, SoulJa, Shakalabbits, Puffy and SOUL'd OUT will perform at this event, and now Korean artists have been invited to perform as well. Shin Seung-hoon, Andy, Wheesung, SS501, Paran, Ryu and Kang Yoon-ji will be performing on the last day of the event. Entry is free, but visitors can make a donation which will go to UNICEF Japan.

DSP Entertainment in Thailand have announced a special event for international fan club members in Pattaya, Thailand.
The event will take place from the 28th to the 31st of August and is open to overseas fans! The event includes a meet and greet and special events with the band as well as accomodation in a 5-star hotel but is strictly limited to 100 people on a first-come-first-serve basis. The cost of the trip is 32,000฿ (approximately $950US/£495), which includes transportation, meals and accomodation.

Maslo will release a reissue version of his first album, MR.KIM. The album contains all of the full tracks from the first issue of the album, which was released in 2006 but does not contain the filler tracks and comes with completely new packaging. This version of the album will be released on August 11th.

Dance duo DNT, standing for Dragon & Tiger, will release their debut 7-track mini-album on August 14th. The album is comprised on songs by both of the members, as well as 2 solo songs from each member. -

Watch manufacturer Swatch have created a special Shinhwa 10th Anniversary watch design, to be released only in Japan. The main colour of the watch is white and grey, with Shinhwa's colour orange around the watchface and on the hands, in a simplistic design that is made for everyday use. The name Shinhwa runs along the wrist band, and the members' names decorate the watchface. This watch is limited edition, and only 3,000 of them will be released for sale.

Let's SPRIS Rock Festival

For the second time the Let's SPRIS Rock Festival will take place, this year on September 6 at the Olympic Park, Seoul. Tickets cost either 16,000 won with a free drink or 19,000 won with free drink and a lunch box. The Festival starts at 1pm and will last until 9:30pm.

Shinhwa member and solo artist Andy is currently acting in the stage musical Polaroid, and on August 6th his solo from the musical will be released. Titled Saranghamyeon Bonaeya Haneungeonde, viewers of the variety show We Got Married have already had a sneak preview of this ballad when Andy performed it for 'reel-life' wife Solbi.
The song will be released on August 6 on online music portals and mobile sites in Korea. -

Shin Hyesung is currently working hard to complete his third solo album, which is due for release at the end of August. GOOD EMG have begun an interesting unveiling process on the album's website (http://www.goodenter.com/HYESUNG/), to heighten the anticipation of the release - on August 4 a teaser photograph was released on the website, and a video will be released on the site on August 8. It is said that a new video will be released on the website every Monday at 3pm.
In an interview with Yonhap News, Shin Hyesung spoke of ballads suiting him best but that for this album he is expanding his range and showing everyone a different side of himself. The album is said to contain more upbeat tracks, with genres including dance pop, alternative rock and disco, a drastic change from Shin Hyesung's signature ballad style. Shin Hyesung has said that this change is not for the sake of following trends, but for him to better understand his own strengths. -

On September 24, Super Junior will a DVD of their first Japanese fan-event, titled Super Junior 1st Premium Event in Japan. This event sold out 10,000 tickets at the Budokan, despite Super Junior having very few promotional activities in Japan before then. This DVD will include their performance of U, Twins and Miracle, as well as Super Junior T's Rokkugoh, and many more entertaining scenes like talks and games that show Super Junior's personality.

M's Fourth Album and Concert Postponed

M's fourth album was originally scheduled for release on August 21, with a concert following it up on August 23. Unfortunately, there will now be a delay in the release of the album, and as a result the concert must also be postponed.
The album is now scheduled for release on September 23, with the concert pushed back to September 27. There is also a change in venue, from Seoul's Olympic Fencing Gymnasium in Olympic Park to Melon-Ax instead. Ticket details will be released at a later date, but Open World will fully refund everyone who has already bought tickets for the original concert. -

Super Junior won the award for "Favourite Artist of Korea" at the MTV Asia Awards in Malaysia last night. The nominations were voted for by the public and Super Junior beat Big Bang, So Nyuh Shi Dae and Wonder Girls to win the award. Shiwon gave a speech at the ceremony in English in which he thanked the fans for being supportive and the group's producer, manager, staff, families and friends.
