The music of LADY could be described as rock with a lot of pop influences, comparable to LAREINE and a number of recent oshare kei bands, even though they kept their own distinctive style. Just like many other groups from Nagoya, they left a lot of room for their guitarist to play solos. Because of their style, they can be seen as pioneers of modern oshare kei bands; their clothing, especially when compared to their then active colleagues at Donuts Record West, had been very colourful. However, they kept their make-up to a minimum, and only Sera could possibly be described as androgynous.
Care should be taken while searching for this band, because there is also a Korean girl-group called Lady.
