Hotei Tomoyasu is one of the most influential guitarists in Japanese rock history. After inspiring a generation of bands as a member of BOØWY, he launched his solo career in 1988 with GUITARHYTHM. He came to international prominence in 2003 when his composition Fight Without Honor or Humanity was featured in Quentin Tarantino's film "Kill Bill Vol.1".
After a quarter-century of solo success in his homeland, in 2012, Hotei relocated to London to focus on establishing himself internationally.
Guitarist HOTEI will release the eighth installment of his "GUITARHYTHM" album series, featuring collaborations with Char and DENKI GROOVE's Takkyu Ishino, on April 16th.
