Formed in 2008 by the talent agency Stardust Promotion, Momoiro Clover Z have risen to become one of Japan's most popular idol acts. Known to fans as Momoclo, the group has enjoyed some chart success, but since their earliest days, the group’s main focus has always been on live activities.
They’ve garnered international attention through several anime tie-ins, and collaborations with the likes of Marty Friedman and American rock legends KISS.
Originally named Momoiro Clover, the Z was added following the departure of Hayami Akari in April 2011.
