Once the vocalist of the successful visual kei band ViViD, SHIN officially launched a solo career in December 2016. Already popular outside of Japan due to his time in ViViD, he made his overseas debut at HYPER JAPAN in London
less than a year later, and embarked on a dual tour of Europe with THE SIXTH LIE shortly afterwards.
SHIN’s solo music combines his sweet, yet powerful voice with a rock sound that is both edgy and accessible. His first solo album Good Morning Dreamer was released on August 23rd, 2017.
In addition to his more formal solo work, SHIN has a YouTube channel called "SHIN LOID" where he regularly uploads covers of various pop, rock and anime songs and collaborates with various guest musicians.
