Observing how successfully some Korean bands and solo artists have been in Japan, many agencies are using the current surge in K-pop popularity to try to make a foothold for their artists. The next three bands planning to debut in Japan have been confirmed.

Big Hit Entertainment has revealed that 2AM will debut in Japan at the beginning of next year. The agency's official said that the debut will be marked by the release of the band's full album Saint o'clock. Meanwhile the group is preparing for the upcoming JYP Nation concert which will take place in Japan on August 17 and 18.

Girl group T-ara will release their debut single on September 28. The seven-member group will make their debut with the Japanese version of Bo Peep Bo peep. (The Korean version was released on the band's first studio album in 2009.)

Girls' Day will also debut in September. Having just finished their promotional activities in Korea, the band will focus now on Japanese promotions of the songs Twinkle Twinkle, Hug Me Once and one new song. The agency's official reported they are in the final stages of preparation while the members of the band are busy studying Japanese and rehearsing their songs and choreography.
