N.EX.T are one of the few metal bands in Korea who have not only stood the test of time but have gained recongition to the point of almost being mainstream. Their popularity has meant they have managed to collaborate with some of the biggest artists in the Korean pop scene (including Chaeyeon and Big Mama).
The band's music can simply be described as "metal". They aren't afraid to push the boundaries of the genre and experiment with other sounds, which has meant including elements of funk in their sound.
