Choosey Lover's success is unshakable. First of all, this song has been performed in many DBSK's lives, like in the ~Five in the Black~ tour, in the A-NATION 2007 (where Tohoshinki (DBSK) performed for the 3rd time) and in the Soul Power 2007.
From the beginning, the song seems to be swinging and has a very good rhythm. The leader U-Know (Yunho) greets us with rap lyrics, while the tempo is particularly marked and gives a good dance effect. The "let's go to party" atmosphere which emanates from the song immerses the public in an irresistible euphoria. Then the chorus begins where all of the members' voices can be heard clearly in the catchy pop song. Electronic effects give an air of originality to the song as the members of the group show their powerful vocal performances. It's approximately at 2 minutes 20 when we can hear Micky Yoochun's soft voice accentuate the lyrics, instantly joined by the other members' voices for another chorus that we never tire of. In the clip who describes perfectly the song, we can see Tohoshinki singing and dancing in a night club in an attractive atmosphere.
About the remix, there's a fundamental change. We are dealing with a ballad where the members' voices can be heard clearly. The melody, soft and sweet, gives the public an opportunity to listen the vocal performances again. However, toward 2 minutes 35 point the rhythm quickens and we can rediscover a pleasant similitude with the original song.
The single Choosey Lover was a success. It was in the top 200 of the Oricon weekly, and in the Oricon monthly. In addition, more than 20,000 CDs were sold in the first week of release. And the photo set and the booklet that are included in the different versions are perfect for the fans.
With this single, Tohoshinki prove once again that they are able to play numerous different musical styles.
