Released October 6th, rookie pop group Boyfriend’s second single follows up from their first, by continuing with the image of being a boyfriend to a love interest. While their debut single presents being the ideal boyfriend, and attracting the attention of women, Don't Touch My Girl suggests that once you ‘have the girl’, you must enjoy her and flaunt her while sending out the message that she is indeed, yours.

The intro YOU’RE MY LADY prefaces the title track, similar to how the intro Let’s Get It Started did for Boyfriend’s self-titled track Boyfriend in their previous release. The intro begins with a light dance beat and a repetitious use of the auto-tuned line, “you’re my lady.”

The title track, Don't Touch My Girl is a light synthpop dance track with a pleasant, faint piano melody in the background. The track follows on from the same beat as the intro and includes the line “you’re my lady” introduced in the intro as well. Don't Touch My Girl is a very catchy track, with a memorable hook and chorus. Boyfriend recently performed Don't Touch My Girl on Music Core.

The B-side, Jeom Jeom Jeom (aka Little by Little) has a prominent layered bass beat and sounds just as catchy as the title track with a higher use of synthesizer in the backing track. Ideally, Jeom Jeom Jeom would be a stand-alone release on its own.

The single includes instrumental versions of Don't touch my girl and Jeom Jeom Jeom.

The official music video for Don't touch my girl can be seen below. The choreography for the track is very strong.
