Love Parade (Regular Edition)

The Boss

Released Love Parade is the third part of Daikoku Danji (aka THE BOSS)'s ‘love’ series, out of four parts total.

The track is a bright synthpop dance track that borrows the best of K-pop music conventions (very catchy dance tracks with memorable melodies) with cuter J-pop lyrics that focus on love and relationships. Love Parade’s strong point is its simple but catchy chorus.

Girlfriend takes things much lighter—a little slower than the title track but doesn’t lose all of its steam. The track carries a sweeter sounding melody with synthesizers, promoting a fluffier, ‘love’ feeling.

The B-side, Wasurenai slows completely to the tempo of a slow ballad. With soothing chords and a slower tempo, the track is very calming and best to listen to when wanting to be contemplative (…or slow dancing with your significant other).

Overall, the single presents a mixture of upbeat and slow, contemporary pieces, and can be enjoyed by many.

Love Parade is available in two limited editions, Type A and B limited and a regular edition.
