A-JAX (previous named DSP Boyz) are a relatively new boy band under DSP Media who made their debut on April 1st, 2012. HOT GAME, A-JAX’s second single succeeds their debut single, One 4 U.
The title track, HOT GAME is a dance track with a light hip-hop beat, with synthesizers and plenty of style. If listened to, not by watching the music video, the first twelve seconds of HOT GAME and the outro seem out of place for such a powerful dance track. That same sound byte can be heard throughout the chorus but is hidden over the strong vocals in the chorus. However, if listeners hear the song while watching the music video, that initial span of twelve seconds fits as the girl in music video appears to tease the other members alluringly, hence the title of the track, “hot game.”
Released but a few days ago, on July 11th, HOT GAME is likely to be released on iTunes in the coming days. The single also includes the instrumental version of HOT GAME.
