SS501's second single Snow Prince was released seven months after their first, arriving in stores just in time for Christmas. It has a five song tracklist like the first single, and seems to be heavily influenced by the season as the majority of tracks are lighthearted fare. Many artists tend to do ballads for winter releases so it makes sense why SS501 took this direction, but they would not have gone wrong if they had included more than one dance track on the single.

The single starts out with Hayansaram (White Man) a poppy bubbly song that may not do much for the listener. Following that is My Girl, which is a soothing, sweet ballad that leads into the title track, Snow Prince.

Snow Prince is playful, upbeat and just plain cute, and could easily become a favourite. It succeeds where Hayansaram failed and it will most likely have you tapping your toes or fingers to the beat and singing along. In Your Smile is another sweet sounding song, with a feel similar to My Girl but a faster beat. It's not a track one might have on repeat but it's likeable enough to enjoy it when it comes on.

Fighter is the final song of the single, bringing it to a close with an edgy dance track that is the complete opposite of the previous tracks. It shows a more manly and strong image with lyrics such as "I do want to fight" and "I can fight you always in my mind". Dance is a style that SS501 does best, and it's a pleasure to hear artists play to their strengths.

Overall Snow Prince had more of a softer, fluffier feel to it than their debut single. The tracklist could have used more balance with different genres but two tracks in particular (Snow Prince and Fighter) redeemed the single, and it was no surprise when they brought SS501 to the top of the charts, earning the group greater recognition and cementing their status as a rising star.
