2PM – 1:59 PM

2PM release their first original full album while trying to get past all the drama caused by their leader fleeing to the US.

Much controversy arose after 2PM's leader fled to the US, and there is no doubt that the unfortunate “scandal” of their leader is going to follow them no matter which direction they take. Yet 2PM try to show with this album what they are made of.

Coming back on November 14th with a new style and sound, the album is quite good. It is a pity that it is not a product with mostly new songs (Perhaps JYP was a bit occupied with promoting Wonder Girls?). Nevertheless, a few of the new songs are very catchy in a 2PM style. For the ardent 2PM fans, six new tracks are featured on this album. The rest consist of some interesting remixes of 2PM's previous singles (such as 10 out of 10, Only You and Hate You).

Of course there is the typical 2PM sound with strong beats and repeated chorus. But the tracks that stand out are the ones with more of an R&B touch, slow songs that are filled with sexiness and playfulness, songs that make you want to perhaps hug your pillow a bit tighter. During Back to You , Gimme The Light and All Night Long, try to listen to Taecyeon's English ad libs; They will make you smile.

All in all, a nice product from 2PM, a good filler to heighten fan expectations now that a new album has been announced for the beginning of April.
