A Sweet Moment, the latest album from Ivy, has been met with unexpected levels of success, with the lead single Yoohokeh Sonata doing extremely well in the charts - and Eeruhlkuhmyun looking set the follow suit it's difficult not to wonder what all the fuss about.

The album opens with the very dancey and extremely catchy Cupido. The song flows nicely, despite some unusual uses of vocals (including several sections where Ivy is half-rapping, half-talking).

Next up is the song that has made her known. It's easy to see the appeal of Yoohokeh Sonata, the sample of Beethoven's Fur Elise makes the song seem familiar even to those who have not heard the song before. The song is another good example of Ivy's vocal abilities as well as being a song that will definitely stick in your head.

The album takes a change of pace with the beautiful Eeruhlkuhmyun, which is the perfect chance to show off her vocals within a ballad. Although the song is very delicate, there is very little dynamic so the song can seem to drag at times.

This is followed by the smooth RnB song Ever, which is reminiscent of the works of Western RnB performers. About three quarters of the way through the song there is the appearance of male vocals, which, in a way, save the song. Although the song is enjoyable it suffers from the same problem as Eeruhlkuhmyun in that it lacks some variety at times.

To 10 is a full-on summer pop song with rocky elements in parts. Considering how early in the album it appears, she certainly shows variety in the styles of music she can pull off, which can only work to her advantage.

After this point the main substance of the album is over and most of what is featured are varying quality ballads and RnB songs, which is a shame considering how strongly the album started. There are some highlights such as The Message (From Ivy), which is in the same vein as To 10, and nu Trend, which is a very good heavy RnB track.

Overall, the album is good and shows great potential for the things to come. It gets off to a very strong start but it does trail off slightly in the second half. For a new artist on the scene it is an impressive feat that she has managed to share so much of what she is capable of and shows promise of becoming one of the main players in the RnB scene in the future.
