The largest and most successful Korean entertainment agencies are coming together to form the United Asia Management (UAM).
The companies KEYEAST, AME&T, Star J Entertainment, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment all agreed that there was a need for a bigger system where companies could collaborate, cast, and exchange ideas and talents, targeting the entire Asian market.
The collaboration team will not only play the role of agency, but also manage portrait rights and intellectual property rights regarding film, drama, video content creation, celebrity online stores, and the like.
UAM will officially start in mid-April, with an already impressive lineup of faces including: Jang Dong-gun, Hyunbin, Shin Mina, Bae Yong-joon, Kim Hyun-joong, Choi Kang-hee, Lee Ji-a, Soo-ae, Kim Nam-gil, BoA, Lee Yeon-hee, Ara, Goo Hye-sun, Kang Hye-jung, Big Bang, Rain, 2PM, and miss A.
