A group of indie bands are holding an event to prevent the closure of venues in the Hongdae area.
A statement from the group said that "these venues are our "holy land" and they are facing closure because they cannot afford to pay the rent. [...] We heard the news and found volunteers who would perform at the fund raiser".
Crying Nut, Changiha to Kaotachi, Lee Han Choul and Superstar K2's Jang Jae In amongst other are set to take part.
The concert organisers said, "This has concerned many people and we are grateful to all those that have helped us".
