Rainbow follow in the footsteps of other girl groups in taking on Japan.
Following in the footsteps of their predecessors KARA and So Nyuh Shi Dae, seven-piece girl group Rainbow have made a big impact with their debut Japanese single. A, which was released on September 14th, has reached number 3 in the Oricon singles charts, selling 240,000 copies in its first week. This surpasses So Nyuh Shi Dae's GENIE, which reached number 4, and KARA's Mister, which reached number 5.
The group said of their success, "We're very happy about all the support our fans have given us in reaching number 3 in the charts. We'll do our very best to continue this success".
