Avex Entertainment in Japan, has issued a statement that GD&TOP’s upcoming Japanese single Oh Yeah! has been cancelled. Similarly, Universal Music has announced that Big Bang's upcoming Live DVD and best of album in Japan have been postponed. The Live DVD "BIGBANG PRESENTS "LOVE & HOPE TOUR 2011" was due to be released on October 19 while their album THE BEST OF BIGBANG was supposed to go on sale on November 23.
Both decisions were made because member G-Dragon was charged with smoking marijuana, which was reported by Korean news media last week. YG Entertainment have formally apologized on behalf of the agency and G-Dragon.
