Boy band Big Bang won their category Best World Wide Act at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast.
At this years' gala they were a nominee representing the Asia & Pacific area, winning the title of Best World Wide Act. Other nominees were Lena (Europe), Britney Spears (North America), Restart (Latin America) and Abdelfattah Grini (Africa/India/Middle East).
