Seven-member girlband Rainbow are preparing to begin their Korean activities as a trio.
DSP media has informed that three, so far unveiled, members will perform under the name Rainbow Pixie, which will aim to show the cuter side of the group instead of their typical sexy image. The trio will release their song Hoi Hoi on January 12th and will give their first performance on MBC's music program "Music Central" on January 14th.
The seven girls of Rainbow debuted in 2009 and have since focused on activities in Japan where they have achieved success with their debut single A. They released their second single MACH there and held their first Japanese tour in December.
