YG Entertainment announced that BIG BANG will have a world tour.
BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 will start on March 2nd at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul and will then move to other countries in Asia, and now also to North and South America, as well as Europe. The group is planning to perform in 25 cities, in 16 countries.
BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 will be presented by a renowned live entertainment company, Live Nation Entertainment, which has already produced tours for international superstars such as Madonna, Lady Gaga and U2, and has promoted K-pop concerts in the USA and Europe. However, this will be the first time Live Nation will be producing and promoting a world tour for an Asian artist.
The Live Nation team will be supported by a group of top specialists: director Laurieann Gibson, stage and lighting designer Leroy Bennett, sound engineer Ken Van Druten and visual content producer Possible Productions.
BIG BANG will start their world tour with the release of their upcoming album ALIVE, scheduled for February 29th.
