JYJ member Kim Jaejoong has topped the list of finalists for Celebrity Shorty Awards.
As the official webpage describes: “The Shorty Awards honor the best of social media, recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short form content across Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Foursquare, and the rest of the social Web.” The finalists are nominated by social media users themselves for the creator's entire body of work. The Celebrity Shorty Award “will be awarded to a celebrity whose creative Twitter bio, presence on social media and genuine sharing has helped them tell truer stories about their life and effect on pop culture.”
The voting has officially closed and Jaejoong has received more votes than Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Britney Spears. This is the Korean idol’s second win in this category.
The Shorty Award winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 26, 2012 in New York.
