Some of Korea’s top idol groups have been nominated for MTV Video Music Awards Japan (MTV VMAJ).
Girls' Generation and KARA have both been nominated for the category Best Album of the Year, while SHINee were nominated in the Best Choreography category. 2PM will be fighting in the category Best Group Video, while CNBLUE and 2NE1 were nominated under Best New Artist Video.
The MTV VMAJ 2012 will take place at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba on June 23rd and will be hosted by Japanese electro trio Perfume.
