YG Entertainment, home to Big Bang, Psy and 2NE1, will soon introduce two new groups into the market.
SuPearls is a girl group with members who were finalists of SBS audition program "K-Pop Star." Originally the band consisted of Park Jimin, Michelle Lee, Lee Jungmi, and Lee Seungjoo, however Park Jimin eventually signed with JYP Entertainment and her place will be taken by Lee Hayi. The group will debut sometime in September.
The next girl group is still enshrouded in mystery, however YG have already released a few photos and videos of the group they referred to as the ‘Future 2NE1.’ The names of two of the girls have been revealed: Kim Eunbi and Kim Yoona, as well as a photo of a 16-year old member whose name has not been revealed. The band will debut sometime in October and more details should be released soon.
