So Loved Awards has been created to showcase the annual atmosphere of the European K-pop fans, and to indicate which K-pop artists might have the possibility to break into the European market. So Loved Awards 2012 will be the second time the awards are being held.
Last year 75. 000 votes were cast online, and the award show was held at the Korean Cultural Center in Berlin at the end of December.
This year, the European K-pop fans will be invited once again to cast their votes for their favourite artists. There will be 16 different categories that are complemented by 3 Special Awards. The Special Awards will be appointed by a team from the German K-pop community So-Loved and K-Colors of Korea magazine.
The partners of the So-Loved Awards will be Korean Cultural Center, KOFICE, KBS, and the online portal of Germany’s Embassy in Seoul - Germany Meets Korea, among others.
The online voting starts on November 1st, and will end at midnight on November 15th. The award show will be held at the end of December as well.
