After several months of controversy, pop singer Psy has entered the military. In June it was reported that the singer was accused of "irregular attendance" during his time at the special military service (an alternative to joining the army for military service) and was also accused of bribing his way into an IT company to become exempt from completing his military service. He has since been found innocent of bribery but guilty of neglecting his duties. He has been ordered to serve an extra 20 months in the military after the completion of his basic training. The singer has said he wishes to appeal against the decision.
