A new band called Tentai3349 ("tentai mimizuku") officially started activities today.
The group's line-up features both KAI, one half of alternative idol duo Screaming Sixties (aka Zekkyou suru 60do), and Hashiguchi Kanaderiya on vocals and guitar. Satou Shuusaku, a support member of
THE BLONDIE PLASTIC WAGON, is manning the bass, while Shimizu Ryo from BACK TO THE NY is on drums.
The band revealed their first music video Mukou Mizu DIVE today, and they will play their first show at Kichijouji Planet K on September 8th. Fans can keep an eye on Tentai3349's new Twitter account for
more updates.
This announcement comes just one day after Screaming Sixties brought their activities to an end with a one-man show at Zepp Nagoya. The decision to cease activities with that show was made after KAI's partner
Montero revealed in June that she recently got married and is currently pregnant, and therefore will need some time away from the stage. She married syunn, the bassist of rock band vivid undress, who also served as a member of Screaming Sixties'
backing band Jacky CATS during some of their recent tours. While Screaming Sixties did not officially disband, simply stating that their "first chapter" has ended, whether the girls will resume activities in the future or not remains to
be seen.
