PRODUCE 101 JAPAN Trainees Form New Group Boom Trigger

Five former trainees from the reality competition show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" have formed a new dance-vocal group called Boom Trigger.

Ando Yu, Inayoshi Hikari, Omizu Rikuto, Okano Kaito and Yuki Tatsuki are the latest trainees to have formed a new boy group following the end of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN", a reality competition show in which 101 trainees competed to debut in 11-member boy group JO1. Other groups that have formed out of former "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" trainees are BXW and ORβIT.

Boom Trigger are said to be working towards the goals of "creating a boom and giving people healing". Taking advantage of the members' strengths in singing, the group is also taking on the challenge of establishing a new music genre called "KJ-HOP" that combines K-Pop, J-Pop and hip-hop.

Each member spoke with enthusiasm about Boom Trigger's formation. Omizu proclaimed: "We want to be a group that is able to provide happiness and enjoyment, and that can bring a smile to many people's faces with our songs!" Yuki confidently added: "We will become artists who connect people all over the world with the power of music, and give courage, hope and energy to many people. I will make the best use of my unique voice."

Ando appealed to their fans, saying "We will do our best to become a group who will make your days more happy through our activities! I want to raise our level without forgetting the people who have supported us until now. Please follow us!" Okano said, "Let's live without forgetting to greet 'Good morning, good day and good evening'". Inayoshi left an ambitious statement: "Creating unexpected results with my low tone gap, I will do my best with my magnificent rap! We will do activities worldwide!"

The members of Boom Trigger are aiming to hold a live performance and plan to distribute their daily lessons and media activities through their social media accounts and YouTube channel.
