Melodic punk band NAMBA69 will release a new mini-album on August 5th.
Titled FRIENDS, it was originally scheduled to hit stores on June 10th but it had to be delayed due to COVID-19-related circumstances. The mini-album will contain five tracks, and it will be paired with a bonus DVD featuring footage from
their CHANGES TOUR FINAL at TSUTAYA O-EAST, which took place in November 2019.
This mini-album will be their first since recruiting new drummer MORO (aka Kazuma Moroishi, formerly of pop band Shiggy Jr.). He took over the position from the band's original drummer SAMBU, who just withdrew from
NAMBA69 this February after about seven years as a member.
In addition, to commemorate "NAMBA69 Day" (June 9th, which is also frontman Akihiro Namba's birthday), the band released a new song from the mini-album titled YOU'RE MY FRIEND as a preceding digital single.
