BIG BANG member Daesung will release his first solo album in Japan. The album will consist of covers of various J-pop songs and will be entitled D'scover. Instead of his Korean name, Daesung will use his Japanese stage name D-LITE to promote the release.
D'scover will be released on February 27th and will be available in two versions: CD and CD+DVD. The DVD version will include music videos for Singer's Ballad and Wings as well as the album’s making of footage. Apart from covers, Daesung’s solo songs Baby Don't Cry and Wings will also appear on the tracklist.
The album will include twelve songs and was produced by Seiji Kameda, Kiyoshi Matsuo, Masanori Sasaji and VERBAL from m-flo.
As part of the promotional activities, Daesung will hold solo concerts in Kobe World Memorial Hall on March 23rd and 24th, and in Tokyo Nippon Budokan Centre on March 30th and 31st.
