New Single from Dohchin Yoshikuni

Dohchin Yoshikuni, one half of pop/R&B duo CHEMISTRY, will release a new double A-side single on April 7th.

Ai no machibouke / My Angel will be his first new single as a solo artist in about four years.

Ai no machibouke was written to serve as the theme song for the film "Hachi to Paruma no monogatari", a collaboration between Japanese and Russian creators that will be premiering this summer. Ueda Tadashi, who has created music for various films, is said to have worked on the song with Dohchin for about a year.

My Angel was written by Ishii Masayuki, who has served as live support for CHEMISTRY and artists like Hanaregumi in the past. It will be used as a theme song for the anime "Aihime MEGOHIME".

In addition, the single will feature a cover of Jeff Buckley's Lilac Wine as a coupling track.
