Kinoko Teikoku frontwoman Chiaki Sato will release a new album on September 15th.
KOE is Sato's second full-length solo effort. Both editions will contain twelve tracks, all but one of which were co-produced by keyboardist Kei Kawano. The only exception, the Kazuma Nagasawa-composed Korogaru bi-dama, was featured in a film of the same name.
Sato initiated her solo activities in July 2018 with the EP SickSickSickSick. Less than a year later, her shoegaze band Kinoko Teikoku declared an indefinite hiatus. Her debut solo album PLANET followed in November 2019.
Music videos for KOE's title track and Sato's most recent digital single Kataware can be watched below, as can a trailer for "Korogaru bi-dama".
