Eletronic music group IDIOTAPE is about to release their 3rd full-lenght album. Dystopian will be out digitally on June 16 and in physical CD format on June 19.
According to the band's composer Zeze, Dystopian isn't about the past or the future. Instead the album focuses on people that live in the same time and consider the present moment in a realistic way.
The cover image of the album is a gray depiction of apartment buildings, supplemented with streaks of color and a cross on the edge of the image. Photographer Yoojimin says the image includes the idea of "the self-repeating pollution of dystopia".
IDIOTAPE will also be returning to Europe this summer. During the months of June and July the trio will travel to Ireland for the Body & Soul Festival and to France for the events Festival les Bichoiseries, Les Musicaves, and Au Foin De La Rue.
