Korean DJ
Seo Seung-hwan has been invited to play at the world's largest techno festival,
Love Parade in Dortmund, Germany on July 19th.
Seo Seung-hwan is a household name in the club district surrounding Seoul's Hongik University. The 28-year old is said to be very excited at the prospect of playing at the festival, as he will be the first Korean DJ ever to perform at the event. He will be performing alongside 100 DJs from 17 nations in front of an audience of around 1.5 million.
The DJ has been playing for around 8 years in the Hongik region and, in 2004, he won a competition hosted by Heineken and went on to take part in an Asian contest. While he is well known by his real name, he often goes by the handle
DJ Airmix, taken from the American basketball player
Michael Jordan's nickname "Air Jordan".
