G-Dragon is set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Big Bang member Taeyang and release a solo album. G-Dragon is recognised within the Korean pop scene as being an exceptional song writer so YG Entertainment are confident that there will be no problems in preparing his solo album. The album has been in progress for several months now but has been put on hold due to G-Dragon busying himself promoting Big Bang's new album, which is due out in early August.
G-Dragon debut solo album looks set to be released in spring of next year.
