Three of SS501's members, Heo Youngsaeng, Kim Kyujong and Kim Hyungjoon, will form a three member sub-unit of SS501 while bandmates Kim Hyunjoong and Park Jungmin focus on their solo activties. Kim Hyunjoong has recently been cast as Rui, one of the lead male characters for the Korean drama series adaption of the popular Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango or Boys Over Flowers, airing in December, while Park Jungmin will be taking part in the Grease musical in November. DSP Entertainment has stated that the three member sub-unit will release an album at the end of this year, or early next.
Meanwhile, SS501 fans can look forward to the release of another SS501 album, planned for this month.
