R&B star Rain has caught the eyes of the Wachowski brothers, famous directors for the movie trilogy The Matrix. The brothers plan to film a new movie called Speed Racer, based on a Japanese manga of the same name, and the filming is set to begin in June. Rain has not yet been officially cast, but if he is then it will be his debut into the Hollywood movie scene.
This big news comes hand in hand with the announcement that on May 10th Rain's contract with JYPE will expire. Rain has stated that while he will not renew his contract with JYPE at this time, he also will not sign with another agency. He will instead remain independent until the end of his world tour in June, after which he will make further decisions.
