Rain and his former agency JYP Entertainment will have to pay over $8 million to Click Entertaiment, after being found guilty for breaking contract when they cancelled a concert a few days before the scheduled date, in Hawaii during 2007.
Click President, Lee Seung Su said he lost almost $1.5 million because of the cancellation, and that it damaged his bussiness reputation.
Rain's lawyer, Jon Crocker, said the lawsuit was baseless and that Click Entertainment had a contract with Revolution Entertainment, the company that owns Rain's right in North America, and not with Rain or JYP Entertainment.
JTune Entertainment and JYP Entertainment will take legal action against court's decision.
