Dong Bang Shin Ki fans sign a petition in support of their lawsuit against SM Entertainment.
A few weeks ago, Hero Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu and Micky Yoochun, three members of idol group Dong Bang Shin Ki, decided to go on trial to terminate the validity of their contract with their agency, SM Entertainment, claiming that their 13 year contract since their debut is the same as a life-long working agreement. The document prohibits their freedom as artists, forcing them to follow the agency’s demands to appear at certain performances and broadcasts.
Meanwhile, fans decided to show their support for the group and wrote a petition to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in Seoul along with the signature of over 120,000 fans!
It is not clear if this petition will help in the trial, but certainly puts pressure upon those responsible for the investigation.
