Singer song writer, Park Ji-yoon is to make a screen debut in 2010.
Park Ji-yoon is to make a debut as a film star on Seoul.
The film is to be released in the beginning of 2010. The singer has been cast in the main role in the short film directed by Yoon Tae-yong, famous for his other work, Boy, Goes To Heaven. This is one-fifth of the collaboration project with four more directors with four different cities of Korea. The project is called Film meets Korea and it is a chance to taste five distinctive colours of their works.
For the singer, this is the first screen debut in her 16 year career. In 1993 she made her debut in a TV commercial and then pursued her singing career with JYP Entertainment though the star left the agency few years ago. She also carried on acting through music videos and drama series such as Ghost and Dance In The Sky. Her most recent 7th album, Flower, Again The First Time has been a success and has been an opportunity for the star to be recognised as a singer songwriter.
In early 2010, the public can watch this film in both cinema and on the Arirang International Program.
