Drunken Tiger, T, Sean and his wife set up an online charity for victims of Lou Gehrig's disease.
The 2 talented musician couples, Drunken Tiger JK and T with Sean of Jinesean and wife, are collecting donations for Lou Gehrig's disease victims.
The team have set up an online charity on Korea's well-known portal site, Naver, and are asking netizens to lend a hand. So far, 3,098 people have donated, resulting in a total of 1,444,900 won.
Alongside the donation, they have shared their reasons and informations about the disease.
One of the reasons Tiger JK is supporting this charity is because he suffers from myelitis, which means that without medicine and care, his body fails to feel things. Lou Gehrig's disease is even worse as the sufferer can not even feel a sweat coming down their skin, a blowing wind nor a mosquito bite. Furthermore, the team understands how a disease like this could destroy a family due to its complications.
Sean also informed that only 1,500 Koreans have this disease, which is quite a small number, and therefore less help is provided for them.
The couples Happy Energy donation's goal is to build a hospice especially for people with Lou Gehrig's.
