With their Korean activities being put on a hold since last summer due to a lawsuit filed by three members against their agency, fans could only see popular pop band TVXQ together in Japan. Their latest release, Toki wo Tomete, ranked first in the Top Oricon on its first day of release.

But it seems like this single could be the last one as Avex released a statement on Tohoshinki's official website on April 3rd, announcing that the band will make a pause in their group activities and asked for fans to support the members' solo activities.

This is a shocking yet quite expected announcement for fans, who express their sadness and hope that this pause will be only temporary.

In July 2009, three members of popular boyband TVXQ, Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and Hero Jaejoong filed a lawsuit against their company, SM Entertainment for slave contracts. That led to a media battle between both parties which became the talk of the town in 2009. Since then, the members have been dedicating their time to their solo projects. U-know Yunho starred in Korean drama Heading To The Ground and took part in Michael Jackson's tribute concert, while Max Changmin and Hero Jaejoong will be part of the casting of Paradise Meadow and Japanese drama Sunao Ni Narenakute respectively.
