YB will release a new album in June.
This is to be a special mini album containing just 5 songs but with a very unique concept, according to the band's agency. The contents include most loved songs from their previous albums in a different format. Those songs are going to be mixed with electronic genre as YB want to challenge themselves with a whole new concept. Furthering the excitement, the album includes an unreleased new song as well.
Fans do not have to wait long as the production will be uploaded on YB's official website, http://www.ybrocks.com in the format of a diary. This idea came about through using Twitter as the bass guitarist, Park Tae-hee realised he discovered a whole new world and potential using the internet to connect with fans. Recently, all the members except for guitarist Heo Joon have been actively using Twitter to connect with fans. Vocalist Yoon Do-hyun added that the forthcoming album is more of an art work and perhaps caters less to the general public's tastes.
Starting in June, this mini album's songs will be available on iTunes and as an iPhone app.
