After 2 years, FT Island will have their Japanese major debut

Five member band FT Island will have a major Japanese debut after 2 years in the market.

The band's agency, FNC Music, stated that FT Island signed with Warner Music Japan last January. They will release their first major single in May and begin broadcasting activities. FT Island left for Tokyo on April 27th to do the final arrangements for the single.

The group started their Japanese indie career in June 2008 with the song Soyogi from album Prologue of FT Island, which debuted at #9 on the Oricon Daily Chart.

After their Japanese activities, FT Island will come back to Korea with a new album in the second half of the year.
