Idol group SS501 are preparing for their comeback with their new album DESTINATION, set for release on May 31st.

Their company, DSP Entertainment, released a statement explaining that some of the most talented musicians in Korea, Europe and the U.S. collaborated to create the new album.

Amongst these talented personel is Korean-American music producer Steven Lee, who worked on the group's previous album REBIRTH and also composed the title track, named Love Ya, on the new album.

The songs on DESTINATION were composed with limited electronic influences that are popular in Korean music at the moment, with the basis for the songs being piano.

Some of the songs included in the record are R&B tune Let Me Be The One and a dance number called Crazy 4 U, which was performed by the band during their PERSONA Asia Tour but had not been featured on an album before. Fans are said to have requested that SS501 include this song on the new album.

Group leader Kim Hyun-joong was involved in a car accident last week but he only suffered minor injuries, allowing his group to make their comeback to the local music scene as planned.

Accordingly, SS501 will not perform a dance number at the upcoming annual Dream Concert on Saturday but Let Me Be The One, from the new album and Just One Day from their previous album.

The five member group are scheduled to give a comeback performance on KBS' Music Bank on June 4th.
