FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION EN Opens Audition for New Generation

Japanese VTuber agency FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION has announced that an audition is now open for its second English-speaking generation.

FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION is a VTuber agency established by REALITY Studios Inc., a virtual talent management company based in Tokyo, Japan. Its first Japanese generation debuted in March 2023. In July 2023, the company began auditioning male VTubers for the first generation of its English-speaking branch.

The first generation from the English branch, an all-male unit called Avallum, debuted in January 2024. Avallum consists of five talents: pirate captain Gale Galleon, elf sage Cassian Floros, vampire wanderer Lucien Lunaris, incubus host Zander Netherbrand and “unruly undead” Rosco Graves.

The second generation will also feature five male talents. Concept art of the new characters and sample lines hinting at the lore for each one have already been unveiled in a YouTube teaser.

As with the previous generation, personality traits for each of the new characters are provided to help applicants tailor their audition videos to the role they are most interested in. They include: “dominant and perfectionist”, “extroverted and energetic”, “mysterious and logical”, “sensual and teasing” and “naughty and assertive” (listed in the order the characters appear in the teaser video).

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to speak English. They must also be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges as a VTuber and able to consistently deliver content at least three times a week for a minimum of one year. An existing VTuber avatar is not required for the application.
