The Chinese member, Han-kyung of Super Junior has filed a contract termination against SM Entertainment.
Han-kyung of Super Junior filed a request to terminate contract with the group's agency, SM Entertainment on 21st December. So far it has been said that the star finds the agency's ways different to his that has become the cause of this incident. The specific details are yet to be announced. In response, the agency has said that they are 'to talk the situation through in sake of the future of both Super Junior and Han-kyung'.
Both fans and the fellow members are shocked and reacting differently to this. The fans are shocked as just 5 days ago, on 16th, Hee-chul posted a picture of Han-kyung and himself followed by a note, 'I only visit China for the concerts though despite this, I am rather popular there. A manager told me that apparently Han-kyung talks about me a lot in China' on Cyworld. In addition to this, the fans left messages of trust whereas Kyu-hyun expressed his feelings with words, 'Even a beast doesn't bite the hand that feeds... I can not understand...' on his Cyworld mini homepage. Though soon after he has hidden this and instead wrote 'I only wanted you to walk the right path'.
Han-kyung is the only Chinese member of the group. Before the debut, he has been involved in Chinese dance competitions then auditioned for H.O.T. Chinese Member Audition 2001. Then he made the debut as Super Junior in 2005 furthermore he is in Super Junior M which specialises Chinese speaking markets.
